Red Nose Day - charity idea.....

Hi guys

Rob has come up with an interesting idea that i want to put by you all to see what you think. I had Rachel Travers at my place the other day shooting some material for my websites and when she said she needed a pee i cheekily asked if she would do it on film. She agreed and i had her pee on the carpet in a room we are decorating (got her to strip a little of the wall whilst she was at it too of course ;) ). So....onto the idea. I was just going to throw out the carpet but i thought that someone out there may just be interested in owning a piece of carpet peed on by Rachel Travers and so we thought of an idea to raise money for charity at the same time.

I always donate to comic relief but it is only ever a minimal amount (i am not mega rich contrary to popular belief!) and i would love to help out some more. The idea is to raffle off the piece of carpet using the lottery numbers to form the result. Everyone donates a nominal amount (e.g £5) and picks a number (1-49). When the lottery result comes out, whoever picks the number of the first ball out of the lottery machine wins the carpet! If nobody has chosen the correct ball we shall use the nearest number below it.

Half the proceeds will go to Comic Relief (if you are not in the UK or have no idea what i am talking about check out [url=http://www.rednoseday.com]www.rednoseday.com[/url]) and the remainder towards the cost of shipping the item. Red nose Day is on Friday 13th March and we will use the lottery numbers from the draw on Saturday 14th. I thought it was a great way to donate to charity and if you think so too then let me know and i will go ahead and make arrangements to accept the moneies. I think we will do it via paypal but i have to look into the why's and wherefore's first. I wanted to put the idea out there to see what kind of response i got.
